1970 grand prix 4 speed SJ 455HO.I Bought this car in 1976 my senior year of High School. After many years and memories I decided to do a rotisorie Frame off in late 2006 when a Pontiac Mentor of mine suffered a Heart Attack. He was a big infuence to me and with putting basicly the rest of my leasure life on hold. I tackled my first total resoration.Ive owned the car now for 34 of its 40 years. My friend is still with us and in his mid 80s now .With the help of friends and the sense of urgency to get it completed .Here it is Aprox 1100 man hours later. One of a little over 500 built.Sadly Pontiac Is no more .This was John Delorians pet project car in 1969 to build the first luxury sports muscle car .Built on the history of the "deusy" The GP has the longest Hood of any American built car.Pushing 500 ftlbs of torque and 370 HP stock .This 2 ton tank rolls pretty well with the AC on and 8 track in.........Thanks to Friend Ed Mucha,Brian Berger(bodywork),Dana Wagner (paint).
