I am currently working on a full frame off, rotisserie mounted, 1972 Buick Gran Sport 455 that I picked up April 7, 2008. Since the day I purchased the vehicle in New Hampshire, I have been spending countless hours stripping it and mounting it onto a rotisserie that I purchased from a fellow car nut. I have had the entire car compacted glass beaded and soda blasted to strip the decades of paint and rust that have collected on it. I have now since replaced the rusted out trunk pan with a full 7 piece set purchased from Tamaraz Sheet Metal. A little about myself; I was born and raised by a motorhead and have always been involved with some sort of motorsport along the way. My passion for cars and motorsports has driven me to pursue a career in Mechanical Engineering through General Motors Institute and found a job with General Motors Powertrain as a Manufacturing Engineer. Unfortunately the downturn in the economy forced me to move onto the Aerospace Industry which has also had rewarding benefits! My father and I are always tinkering around in the shop collecting more toys and tools along the way! As a 25 year old in an "old mans" hobby I feel I am most deserving of the prize to try and spark interest to my friends so these traditions carry on. I look forward to hearing back!
